We will introduce a comparison video of rotary joint with “Auto Flush” system developed by RIX.
This system is a new technology that dramatically improves the biggest factor that causes leaks (opening/closing operation failure [sludge adherence] caused by sludge contained in coolant).
Conventional rotary joints
Sludge adherence on the sliding part of the rotary joint
In case of conventional rotary joints, since coolant is used for circulation,
there are many contained particles such as small sludge.
On prosess to supply the coolant continuously,
sludge accumulates and adheres at the sliding part of rotaty joint.
This causes trouble of leakage.
Trouble factor
Sludge adherence trouble is accounted around 60% of the leakage trouble of the rotary joint.

Suppression of sludge adherence
Sludge adherence trouble is caused by accumulated sludge adherence to the sliding part of the rotary joint.
For this problem, “Auto Flush” system of RIX resolve the accumulated sludge adherence with the simple method.
By making the flow path from sliding gap to main passage, generate the ejectors effect by speed of fluid which passing through the main passage.
With this effect, generate the flowage from sliding gap to the main passage.
Thereby, can reduce deposition of sludge in the sliding gap.
Difference between RIX Rotary Joint and conventional rotary joints
In case of conventional rotary joints, sludge accumulates and adheres, but RIX rotary joints
with "Auto Flush" system resolve sludge accumulation and extend the life of the rotary joint.
